Our client is an industry leading manufacturer and provider of medicinal procedures with a network of over 200 clinic and in-home medical services locations. They have a highly dispersed work force including over 250 corporate employees in addition to more than 500 associated professionals nationwide. This is a well-established company that has been in business since 1986 and is experiencing a period of rapid growth.
Position:
We are seeking a hands-on lead Data Engineer that will be responsible for the strategic and technical roadmap of our client’s data strategy across data warehousing, ETL, SQL, and Azure platform performance. This person will serve as the IT team subject matter expert for core data design and implementation, performance, and scalability.
We are specifically seeking a hands-on data engineer with a desire to lead data engineering for corporate IT and the business data strategy that includes the design and implementation of data pipelines and infrastructure, data integration, advanced reporting models, and long-term performance with Azure based and SQL databases and related data structures.
Desired Experience:
- Prior design and implementation of data strategy and development, implementation, and performance
- Former experience with SQL database infrastructure, data pipeline framework, and related database pipelines
- Previous experience working with SQL and Azure data models, Power BI or related a plus
- Familiarity with data flow automation tools including Apache Airflow, Luigi, or related a plus
