General:
Our client is a $50M multinational biotechnical manufacturing company. They are experiencing rapid growth and a significant increase in brand momentum that has poised the company to double in size in the next 5 years.

Opportunity:
We are seeking a hands-on IT Leader to serve in a new role as a direct report to CEO. The IT Leader will have overall responsibility to establish and build a long-term IT path to IT excellence that enables and supports doubling the size of the company in next 5 years and beyond. 

This is a build-up opportunity, as there is limited US established corporate IT framework, undefined long-term IT budgeting, and a lack of established IT roadmap. This is the first IT technology leadership role in the company.

We are specifically seeking a long-term minded IT technologist with experience in a small manufacturing environment that will serve as a hands-on technologist while setting the direction of future IT strategy. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, innovative and have direct experience in creating and implementing company-wide processes in all aspects of the company.

Skill areas:

  • Experience in creating long-term IT plans that include building an IT framework from ground-up
  • Experience as hands-on lead technologist in the design, implementation, and execution of IT solutions
  • High-energy leader with the desire to set and define long-term initiatives autonomously
  • Demonstrated success across diverse IT areas including finance, CRM, shipping, R&D, compliance, eLearning, and web
  • Experience solving problems relevant to $20-200M manufacturing co. with an undefined IT structure
  • Experience working with CFO to establish finance platform from ground-up a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
