Opportunity:
We are seeking a core IT Infrastructure Engineer to join an established IT infrastructure team to provide key network and systems support and to lead key projects. This is a mission critical, multi data center environment supporting 200+ VM hybrid MS/Linux O/S with an associated enterprise WAN/LAN.
We are specifically seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer with multi-discipline engineering experience across MS Server, Linux, and enterprise level routing, switching, and firewall. This is an advanced IT engineering team role with 50/50 focus across key IT tier III/IV support and leading key projects on a core team of four dedicated infrastructure engineers. This position is a direct report to the Director of IT Infrastructure.
Desired Attributes:
- Prior infrastructure engineering experience in a 100+ VMWare, vCenter, ESXi related environment
- Previous routing, switching, WAN/LAN, and data center networking experience, Cisco experience a plus
- Past Linux administration experience- keyboard commands, small scripts, ability to make key decisions on proposed changes
- Dedicated team collaboration mentality, proactive with strong initiative taking inclination
