Our client is an Indianapolis based and publicly traded $5 billion-dollar corporate enterprise with over 4,000 employees and a market reputation as one of the leading IT organizations to work with in Central Indiana. They have a highly regarded workplace environment that offers stable leadership and a long-tenured IT culture with heavy and ongoing investments in emerging IT initiatives.

Opportunity:
They are seeking a Corporate IT Network Engineer with previous experience across enterprise WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, VPN, and VoIP to join their network engineering team. This role will be involved with leading enterprise level projects, tier IV network engineering, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and related network engineering functions. This position will be a direct report to the Enterprise Network Manager.

We are specifically seeking a network engineer that has previous Cisco Data Center Core Nexus experience along with CCNP level routing protocol design and implementation experience with a desire to be a in an enterprise level HQ/200 site network environment.

Desired background:

  • 7+ years’ experience with WAN/LAN, Wireless, VOIP, and SD-WAN technologies at a network engineering level
  • Core enterprise Cisco routing and switching experience with CCNP certification or CCNP equivalent experience
  • Network engineering experience across Data Center Core with Nexus Data Center7/9000 a plus
  • CCNP level experience with OSPF, BGP, and related WAN routing protocol implementation and performance
  • Fortinet experience with FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager Cloud, FortiOS, or related a plus
