Our client is a nationally recognized healthcare system based in SW Indianapolis. They employ 2,200 employees across 2 major hospitals and multiple locations in Central Indiana. Their IT organization has over forty professionals with an 8+ person IT infrastructure team that maintains a 250+ MS/VM, advanced Cisco enterprise environment.
Position:
They are looking for a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join an established IT infrastructure team responsible for the ongoing support and implementation of core infrastructure including enterprise Cisco WAN/LAN, Cisco ISE, Cisco Core R/S, Cisco DNA Center, routing, Cisco VOIP, and related. This role is 75% project focused with a large ongoing list. Additional responsibilities will involve engineering across Microsoft Windows/VMware/Cloud environments as needed relating to the overall integrity and advancement of the enterprise infrastructure environment.
Desired Experience:
- 5 + year experience in IT infrastructure support within a mid-to-large enterprise across systems and network
- CCNA/CCNP level enterprise Cisco networking experience across WAN/LAN, routing, switching, and related
- Prior infrastructure engineering experience across MS server, VMware, storage, data center, and related
- Collaborative team mentality, ability to run projects A-Z across diverse infrastructure areas
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college desired
- Healthcare experience a plus
