Our client is an Indianapolis based Inc. 5000 ranked managed services and IT solutions provider with headquarters on the north side of Indianapolis. They have a significant central Indiana customer base and excellent reputation for offering advanced IT solutions to a variety of organizations in the market.
Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a Senior/Lead Infrastructure Engineer as a direct report to the CTO to lead ongoing design and implementation initiatives throughout a diverse client base that includes technology across Microsoft M365, core server, enterprise network, security, and related.
We are specifically looking for a lead technical infrastructure engineer that brings a strong history of diverse infrastructure design and project implementation in a senior or technical lead role with experience in mid-to-large IT environments. This is a technical lead position on a team of 3-4 IT engineers that has strong influence on customer infrastructure strategy and leading major projects as the IT infrastructure team’s subject matter expert. This role is a direct report to the CTO.
Desired Experience:
- Design and implementation experience across core IT infrastructure, LAN/WAN, Microsoft 365, security, and related
- Past experience leading a variety of key IT projects across IT infrastructure areas.
- Prior experience creating a broad IT infrastructure roadmap as senior engineer or team lead
- Direct experience in developing key documentation and snapshot of enterprise infrastructure current state
- Former experience presenting solutions and business cases to executive leadership for ongoing performance improvements
- History of mentoring and working collaboratively with other IT infrastructure team engineers and administrators
- Strong aptitude to work across multiple customers and projects simultaneously
